Peter Lindbergh, The 90s And The Beauty Of Black And White

Yes, that’s what I think each day, especially in all moments when I see something beautiful. And for me it’s not easy not to see a world full of still-lives. I’m not a professional photographer, but a passionate picture-taker, an art-lover, a beauty searcher, a lover of everything aesthetic. The Peter Lindbergh exhibition was just the right place to visit …

Oh I always see the beauty of everything. The whole nature with its gorgeous patterns and arrangements is full of still-lives and art worth it taking thousands of pictures. Being in the city like Munich it’s the uniqueness of architecture and the contrasts like yellow summer flowers and black old gothic buildings. Sometimes it’s the decoration of simple food like this orchid which makes ordinary bread look like a delicious 5 star meal.

It’s All About The Soul And The Personality – Peter Lindbergh Exhibition

Today I visited the Peter Lindbergh exhibition. It’s all about black and white and I nearly took photos of each photography I see or just to capture the atmosphere of a room. Being there is like traveling back to the 90s, a time when nearly everyone knew the super models like Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, Milla Jovovic, Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Helena Christensen, Claudia Schiffer, Kathy Ireland, Karen Mulder, Tyra Banks, Eva Herzigová and Nadja Auermann. Most of them have been shooted by famous photographer Peter Lindbergh, mostly in black and white. Known for his memorable cinematic photography, he really is one of the most influential contemporary photographers. His pictures show the soul and personality of the person he shoots. He creates an image of idealistic women with nearly any make-up but a strong character. This was a new era of fashion photography with fashion being less important than the person who wears it. Black and white intensifies this attitude.

I really love his art and this exhibition, now at Kunsthalle in Munich. Here are my first pics. More will be added in this post these days. Yes, it’s more about the soul and the personality than about fashion. Fashion is nothing without a great charakter wearing it. Now I will relax enjoying all the unique stunning photos in my head which I took with my eyes.
