Cold Metallic Glitter Glam

ice-breaker-blog-post

Cold Metallic Glitter Glam. Baby, it’s getting cold outside. 🙂 And holiday season is coming soon! So time to watch out for some stunning metallic glitter glam pieces! Here are some of my favorites like these two sexy glitter dresses by Saint Laurent, which make you look like a vamp. The first one with black sequins, long sleeves and an asymmetric hem and the other is a one-shoulder version and cut for a curve-enhancing close fit from wool-crepe and enveloped in scores of luminous silver sequins, creating a cool liquid metal finish. Then you have these awesome slip dresses by Halston Heritage – a short version in gun metal lamé and a long gown in liquid silver satin for an innocent but sexy look. To make it even more glamorous just put a silver leather biker jacket by Saint Laurent over it. Glam high heels like these by Jimmy Choo whith glitter that graduates from black to silver are gorge but cool biker boots will change this look into a glam rock femme fatale. Don’t forget a futuristic small bag or clutch and a breath-taking attitude, because you will be the eye-candy on the party.

Ruffle Love

Ruffle-Love-blog-post

Yes! Ruffles, Ruffles everywhere! Silk-crepon ruffles, cascading ruffles, romantic ruffles, ruffles at blouses, gowns, sweaters and skirts. You can’t miss them. All the designers love these beautiful details for fall winter 2016 like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Chloé, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Gucci and others. Everyone thinks of romantic style hearing the word ‘ruffle’. But as you can see in my small fashion collage of my favorites you also find edgy, grung and punk 90s inspired ruffle variations combined with biker boots or laid-back oversize sweater shapes. High closed necklines with loose bows as seen on this black look by Chloé reminds of ancient victorian times and gothic chic. I love how you can play with ruffles!

Last Minute Mermaid

Last-Minute-Mermaid-blog-post

Summer is nearly over, so let’s make the best of the last hot days! There’s something magic about mermaids and there’s something magic about Chelseas Flowercrowns! Oh yes! Chelsea crazy about flowers and nature started as a florist in Melbourne, Australia. She tried to cover her scar on her forehead caused by an accident when she was a baby by creating and wearing flowercrowns made of seashells. She saw the opportunity to sell them. Today her mermaid crowns haven taken the world by storm and you can buy many different unique and glamorous models. So if you want to conquer the ocean, put a beautiful white bikini on – white bikinis are a must-have this summer season – and glamorize it with a mermaid crown, moonstone jewelry and self-adhesive rhinestone jewels for your face. If you want to stay unique but comfy at the beach: Embellished leather sandals by Mabu by Maria BK are very fashionable this summer and you get so many cool variations! Yes, and don’t your mermaid nail polish! 🙂 Have a wonderful summer day!

Velvet Trends fall winter 2016

Velvet-Trend-2016-blog-post

There’s something magical about velvet. It makes us think of princess dresses in fairy-tales, like the one Snowwhite was wearing. Or it reminds us of Scarlet O’Hara in ‚Gone with the wind’ wearing her handmade green velvet gown. About two weeks ago I wore my new velvet dress in light beige silver for the first time. What I love about velvet is the contrast between soft and heavy – soft and heavy, romantic and melancholic like the song ‚If you wear that velvet dress’ by U2 which I heared my inner voice singing wearing that dress. Because of this constrast it’s so easy to play with this fabrique. Wearing a long velvet gown with ankle booties and some fur accessory or statement necklace as seen on the runway models presenting Ralph Lauren collection or on Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio during Milan fashion week you feel like a princess. Adding some biker or Dr. Martens boots and some choker necklace instead of glam jewellery you show this 90s attitude which is one of the coolest trends this and the upcoming season – up to gothic styles like Adam Selman does on his runway show for fall winter 2016. You love the more casual and laid-back style? No problem! Put a wide shape velvet dress or some cool velvet pants on, just pure without jewelry and add some slip-ons like the runway-look by Brock. Do not overplay your velvet love. It’s ok if your hair has this fake-out-of-bed look. Only wear one velvet piece like a gown or a suit without velvet accessories or one velvet accessory like beautiful heels or sandals like these ones by Saint Laurent or Gianvito Rossi. Or you do it like Chloé: Give your fall winter 2016 wardrobe a velvet touch by wearing just a velvet scarf bound to a loose bow. Yes I’m completely into velvet this season. What about you?

Today I had a look at some brand new designer fashion pieces, shoes and bags. My today’s choice are some very cool retro style it-pieces, like these flared pants by Frame Denim, the most wanted Alexa Chung denim skirt, a cool 70s style suede coat by Frame Denim and these awesome cowgirl metallic suede-paneled leather ankle boots with silver stars by See by Chloé. The printed silk-crepe shirt with vintage-inspired florals is great with both, denim skirt and flared pants. Or you wear a more elegant retro version like this Le Bow silk-georgette blouse also by Frame Denim. Bags like the ones here by Stella McCartney are always a good choice. They are cool, modern and a great match with nearly every style.

Yes, today I took a look at this seasons’ glam and luxury fashion designer pieces. Now I’m dreaming of a closet full of my winter favourites. Sigh …. Hope you like them as much as I do. As you can see, fake fur is as glamorous as real fur and knitwear combined with beautiful glam statement necklaces like the one as seen on zara.de gets the perfect glam look. Now I lay back and dream of luxurious silk, cashmere, stretch wool-blend straight-leg pants, suede over-the-knee boots, golden glitter leather point-toe flats, cool leo booties, cool fake fur coats and and and ….. 🙂

Hottest Fall Winter 2015 Trends

Hottest-Fall-Winter-2015-Trends-blog-post

Today I wanna give you a short survey of the hottest fall winter 2015 trends. On the runways you see so many designer looks that it’s hard to know all the different trends to find which is best for you. So let me help you.

Colors: This fall and winter Black is really back, worn all over in different fabrics or combined with white – a cool couple. You have all pastel colors like light blue, light pink, lilac, mint and of course bright colors like red, green and orange. You can wear color blockings or monochrome looks. It’s up to you. Non-colors like grey, off-white, eggshell, nude, toffee, chocolate, greige and beige are important trends too. Combined with each other they look very elegant and laid-back.

Fabrics: Fabrics are very important this season. It’s real art to mix them to create stunning looks. Silk, lace, ligth-wool, leather – especially suede – and other soft materials are cool mixed as a contrast with heavy knitwear, fur and fake-fur, tweed and other heavy fabrics. Dare to make cool mixes!

Silhouettes & Details: I’m so happy that the Seventies are even more a must-have look than they have been last year. Love all Seventies shapes, colors and boho looks – ponchos, block heels, huge shades, funny prints, flared pants, high waist. And the coolest thing is: You can wear every skirt style – mini, midi and maxi. It’s all cool this season. You can choose what you like the most. Designers created different styles, the Sixties, the Eighties and Victorian looks, which I also love and which make black look so different! Concerning pants, you can choose the style which looks best on you. Skinny pants stay, flared pants with high waist are great and culottes are new. You can look like a diva dressed in silk and fur, elegant camel coats, lots of jewelry and huge belts tight around your waist. You can choose a cool young look, wearing Brit-Chic with tweed, tartan, bows around the neck and houndstooth.

This season everything is possible. It’s like jumping into different roles. Love it! Concerning fashion the most important thing is: Have fun, feel good and look wow!

Soft Dandy Rock

Soft-Dandy-Rock-blog-post

Fall is here! In germany it’s getting colder and colder, the days getting shorter. Now that I really need to wear fashion, that makes me feel warm and cozy, I have created my first fall winter 2015 fashion collage for you! Hope you like it! As you can see pink and black are the colors of my theme ‘Soft Dandy Rock’. Both colors are fall winter 2015 trend colors – real must-have colors! Together they are a very cool team! The soft pastel color ‘pink’ associates tenderness, feminine elegance and reminds me of princesses and ballerinas. Black is the exact contrast. It associates power, strength, coolness and reminds me of rock, gothic and biker style, but also of gorgeous and luxurious party and evening looks. As you know I loveee contrasts! So this is one of my favorite trends for fall winter 2015. For this is my first fashion collage of this season I tried to give you a general survey of some fall winter keytrends. Some must-haves are culottes, ponchos, boots with block heel, light flared pants and daypacks. I really hope you like the looks I created for you as much as I do! Have a wonderful day lovelies!

Soft Like Flower Ice Cream

Soft-like-Flower-Ice-Cream-blog-post

There are so many stunning and feminine summer dresses by all the designers that it’s really hard to make a choice! That’s exactly the same problem with all these awesome new summer shoes! Today I made a choice for you! I picked up all my favorites in pastel colors like soft flower blossoms. I’m completely in love with romantic boho styles like the cute white dress by Givenchy! I definitely would combine it with some lace-up or so called gladiator sandals like the ones by Chloé. The lace dress in light purple by Self-Portrait or the cute ruffled floral-print taffeta pencil skirt and top by Miu Miu are romantic and elegant summer fashion must-haves! They would look gorge with these silver metallic heels by Gianvito Rossi. I’m a retro fan as you know. 🙂 So I loveeee the cute light yellow white two-tone cotton-crepe and silk-crepe mini dress with its softly structured style! It would look perfect with the Rockstud leather sandals with gladiator-inspired lace-up straps by Valentino. This detail is very typical and important for this seasons’ look!

Platform Hype

Platforms-Hype-blog-post

The platform is here again!! 🙂 I’m so happy about it! After a short break we have a revival of the legendary heels, which makes us feel so tall and retro-cool! And don’t forget: These platform heels make the longest legs, especially with mini skirts and dresses and the retro flared denim pants which are also back again. And a lot of platform heels you can find in all the shops with brandnew spring summer 2015 fashion are more comfortable than all sandals and pumps without platform. So if you’re not that good in walking on high heels firt start with platforms!
